Characteristics of an ignorant person

Question:

What is the character of an ignorant person?

Answer:

Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “The character traits of the ignorant person includes answering before he listens and objecting before he understands and judging according to what he does not know.” [Mizan-ul-Hikmah of Ar-Raishahri, Volume 1 Page 464]

عن محمد بن إسماعيل عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليهما السلام أنه قال: من أخلاق الجاهل الإجابة قبل أن يسمع، والمعارضة قبل أن يفهم، والحكم بما لا يعلم

Imam Al-Kazim (a.) said: “The ignorant man is more often surprised by the wise than the wise man is surprised by the ignorant.” [Mizan-ul-Hikmah of Ar-Raishahri, Volume 1 Page 464]

عن محمد بن إسماعيل عن موسى بن جعفر الكاظم عليهما السلام أنه قال: تعجب الجاهل من العاقل أكثر من تعجب العاقل من الجاهل
