At-Tusi about Kitab Sulaim

Abu Ja’far At-Tusi writes:
سليم بن قيس الهلالي يكنى أبا صادق له كتاب أخبرنا به ابن أبي جيد، عن محمد بن الحسن بن الوليد، عن محمد بن أبي القاسم الملقب بماجيلويه، عن محمد بن علي الصيرفي، عن حماد بن عيسى وعثمان بن عيسى، عن أبان بن أبي عياش، عنه ورواه حماد بن عيسى عن إبراهيم بن عمر اليماني عنه
“Sulaim Ibn Qais Al-Hilali, who bears the nickname Abu Sadiq, has a book that was reported from Ibn Abi Jayyid by Muhammad Ibn Al-Hasan Ibn Al-Walid, who reported it from Muhammad Ibn Abi Al-Qasim, who bears the nickname Majilawaih, who reported it from Muhammad Ibn Ali As-Sairafi who reported it from Hammad Ibn Isa and Uthman Ibn Isa who reported it from Aban Ibn Abi Ayyash who reported it from Sulayim and Hammad Ibn Isa reported it from Ibrahim Ibn Umar who reported it from Sulayim.“ [Al-Fihrist, page 81]
أبان بن أبي عياش فيروز تابعي ضعيف
“Aban Ibn Abi Ayyash Fairuz belongs to the later generation and is weak (Da’if).” [Ar-Rijal, page 124]
علي بن الحسن بن فضال عن محمد بن إسماعيل الزعفراني عن حماد بن عيسى عن عمر بن أذينة عن أبان بن أبي عياش عن سليم بن قيس الهلالي
“Ali Ibn Al-Hasan Ibn Faddal reported from Muhammad Ibn Isma’il Az-Za’frani who reported from Hammad Ibn Isa who reported from Umar Ibn Udhainah who reported from Aban Ibn Abi Ayyash who reported from Sulaim Ibn Qais Al-Hilali.” [Tahdhib-ul-Ahkam, Volume 4 page 126]
إن ما أورده في كتابي (التهذيب والاستبصار) الاخبار إنما آخذه من الاصول المعتمد عليها وقد سلك على ذلك المنوال كثير من علماء الرجال
Abu Ja’far At-Tusi writes: “Whatever I narrate in the two books (At-Tahdhib and Al-Istibsar), I take from the principles that are considered as authentic (Mu’tamad) and this is the path that many of the scholars of the tradition have taken.” [Kitab-ul-Wafi, Volume 1 Page 23]
قال أبو حعفر الطوسي: إن ما أورده في كتابي (التهذيب والاستبصار) الاخبار إنما آخذه من الاصول المعتمد عليها وقد سلك على ذلك المنوال كثير من علماء الرجال
