No earth without a imam, a man of Ahlulbait

Imām Ṣādiq (a.s.) said:“None of us from the people of the house [Ahl-ul-Bait] moved and continues to move until the Rising of Imām Mahdī (a.s.), to remove an injustice or call towards justice, except that misfortune overcomes him and its rising leads to an increase in hatred of us and our followers [Shīʿah].” [Madīnat-ul-Maʿājiz, volume 6 page 142]

Imām Bāqir (a.s.) said: “By God, one of us from the people of the house [Ahl-ul-Bait] will reign for three hundred years and nine more.” I (Jābir) said: “When will that happen?” He (a.s.) said: “After the death of Imām Mahdī (a.s.).” I (Jābir) said: “How long will Imām Mahdī (a.s.) remain in the world until his death?” He (a.s.) said: “Nineteen years from the day of his Rising until the day of his death.[Biḥār-ul-Anwār, Band 52 Seite 298 – 299]

Somebody mentioned at Imām Bāqir (a.s.): “Salmān, the Persian!” To which the Imam (a.s.) said: “What is this? Do not say: “Salmān, the Persian.” But says: Salmān, the Muḥammadaner. This one is a man of us from the people of the house [Ahl-ul-Bait].”[Biḥār-ul-Anwār, volume 22 page 349]

Imām Ṣādiq (a.s.) said: “God is more exalted, more kind and more mighty than leaving the earth without a righteous Imām.” I [Abū Baṣīr] said to him: ” May my life be sacrificed to you, then tell me something that will give me relief.” He said: “O Abū Muḥammad, the nation of Muḥammad will have no relief as long as the children of the sons of So-and-so have rulership, until their rulership comes to an end. When their rulership comes to an end, God will give the nation of Muḥammad a man from us people of the house [Ahl-ul-Bait] who shows the fear of God, acts with guidance and does not accept bribery in his judgment. By God, i know his name and the name of his father. Then the stout man comes to us, the short one, with the beauty spot and two birthmarks, the righteous leader and guardian of what has been deposited with him. He fills them with justice and equality, as the transgressors filled them with injustice and oppression.” [Biḥār-ul-Anwār, volume 52 page 269]

Imām Bāqir (a.s.) said: “By God, a man of us from the people of the house [Ahl-ul-Bait] will have dominion over the earth three hundred years after his death and nine more.” I (Jābir) said: “When will that happen?” He (a.s.) said:“After the death of Imām Mahdī (a.s.).” I (Jābir) said: “How long will Imām Mahdī (a.s.) remain in the world until his death?” He (a.s.) said: “Nineteen years from the day of his Rising until his death.” I (Jābir) said: “Will there be confusion after his death?” He (a.s.) said: “Yes, for fifty years.” He (a.s.) said: “Then Manṣūr will go out into the world to reclaim his blood and the blood of his companions. Then he kills and takes prisoners, until it is said: If this one descended from the prophets, then he would not have killed all these people. Then people of both light and dark skin will join together against him, until they force him to go to the place of consecration of God. When his trial becomes serious, the victorious one (a.s.) dies, and out of anger over the victorious one (a.s.), the bloodshedding one (a.s.) goes out into the world and kills all of our tyrannical enemies. He has dominion over the whole earth and God brings salvation to his matter. He lives three hundred years and nine more. Then Imām Bāqir (a.s.) said: “O Jābir, do you know who is the victorious (a.s.) and who is the blood shedding one (a.s.)? O Jābir, the victorious one is Ḥusain (a.s.) and the bloodshedding one is the commander of the believers (a.s.).”[Biḥār-ul-Anwār, Band 53 Seite 146 – 147]
