Higher than a prophet?
Question:
According to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, can the imams (a.) be higher than the prophets?
Answer:
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad writes: “Let me tell you in full truth that a person can attain a higher rank than Jesus (a.) through his perfect obedience to the Prophet Muhammad (s.).” [The Essence of Islam, Volume 4 Page 71]
Comment:
Perfect obedience requires the presence of infallibility.
