Mirza Ghulam Ahmad on mothers

Question:

What did Mirza Ghulam Ahmad say about the mothers of his opponents?

Answer:

The abusive term is the Arabic word “Baghi” (بغي) and its plural is “Baghaya” (بغايا) This word has the meaning “unchaste / illegitimate woman” and is used in the Qur’an itself:

[ 1. ] “She said: “How shall i have a son if no man has touched me and i have not been unchaste?” [Maryam 19:20]

[ 2. ] “O sister of Aaron, your father was not a wicked man, nor was your mother an unchaste woman!” [Maryam 19:28]

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad writes:

“Know that anyone who comes from a married relationship is not a descendant of an illegitimate woman.” [Nur-ul-Haqq, page 63]

“Every Muslim looks at my books with admiration and love and takes benefit from their findings and accepts me and confirms my message, except those who are descendants of illegitimate women and whose hearts have been sealed by God so that they do not acknowledge me.” [A’inah Kamalat Islam, pages 547 – 548]
