If the angels would love them

Question:

What would happen to the angels if they were lovers of Abu Bakr and Umar?

Answer:

Sama’ah Ibn Mihran reported that Imam Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.) said: “By Him Who sent Muhammad with the truth, if Gabriel and Michael had a spark of love for the two (Abu Bakr and Umar) in their hearts, then God would throw them into hellfire on their faces.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 45 page 339 Hadith 5]

عن أبان بن تغلب عن جعفر بن إبراهيم عن زرعة عن سماعة عن أبي عبد الله الصادق عليه السلام قال: والذي بعث محمدا بالحق لو أن جبرئيل وميكائيل كان في قلبيهما (أبي بكر وعمر) شئ لأكبهما  الله في النار على وجوههما
