Father of the Wise

Al-Wasafi reported that Imam Al-Baqir (a.) said: “In one of the intimate conversations of Moses (a.) with God, he said: ‘O Lord, this Samiri made the calf’ (20:88), but who made the bleating voice?” (7:148) Then God revealed to him: “O Moses, this is My temptation” (20:85), so do not pursue Me over them.” Isma’il Ibn Abd Al-Aziz reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “At the time when Moses (a.) said: “You are the Father of the Wise.” [Al-Burhan of Al-Bahrani, volume 3, page 221]

عن ابن مسكان عن الوصافي عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال: إن فيما ناجى الله موسى أن قال يا رب هذا السامري صنع العجل فالخوار من صنعه؟ قال: فأوحى الله إليه يا موسى إن تلك فتنتي فلا تفصحني عنها عن إسماعيل بن عبد العزيز عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: حيث قال موسى أنت أبو الحكماء

Ya’qub Ibn Ja’far reported that one said to Imam Al-Kazim (a.): “Certainly you explain from God’s scriptures what you did not hear.” Whereupon he said: “It was sent down to us before the people and it was explained to us before it was explained to the people. So we know about what is allowed and what is forbidden, what is canceled and what is canceled, what is fractionated and significant, what is for travel and what is for staying and in which night a verse came down and for whom it came down, for we are the Wise of God on His earth.” [Al -Wasa’il from Al-Amili, Volume 27, Page 197, Hadith 33582]

وعن محمد بن الحسين عن أبيه عن بكر بن صالح عن عبد الله بن إبراهيم الجعفري عن يعقوب بن جعفر عن الإمام الكاظم عليه السلام أنه قيل له: إنك لتفسر من كتاب الله ما لم تسمع، فقال: علينا نزل قبل الناس ولنا فسر قبل أن يفسر في الناس فنحن نعلم حلاله وحرامه، وناسخه ومنسوخه ومتفرقه وخطيرته وسفريه وحضريه وفي أي ليلة نزلت من آية، وفيمن نزلت فنحن حكماء الله في أرضه

Barnabas reported that Jesus (a.) said to his disciples: “He has neither father nor mother. He has neither sons, siblings, nor companions.“ Until Philip said to him: “Master, what are you saying? Surely it is written in Isaiah that God is our Father. Then why doesn’t He have any sons?” There Jesus (a.) said: “There are many parables written with the prophets. So do not pay attention to the letter, but to the meaning. For all the prophets, that is 144,000, whom God has sent into the world, have spoken obscurely. But after me will come the brightness of all the pure prophets, and will shed light on the obscurity of all that the prophets have said, because he is the messenger of God.” [Gospel According to Barnabas, chapter 17, verse 9 – 23]

برنابا الكاتب الإنجيلي عن عيسى بن مريم عليه السلام أنه قال لتلاميذه: لا أب و لا أم له لا أبناء ولا أخوة ولا عشراء له إلى أن قال فيلبس: ماذا تقول يا سيد حقا لقد كتب في أشعيا أن الله أبونا فكيف لا يكون له بنون فقال عيسى عليه السلام: إنه في الأنبياء مكتوب أمثال كثيرة لا يجب أن تأخذها بالحرف بل بالمعنى لأن كل الأنبياء البالغين مئة وأربعة وأربعين ألفا الذين أرسلهم الله إلى العالم قد تكلموا بالمعميات بظلام ولكن سيأتي بعد بهاء كل الأنبياء الأطهار فيشرق نورا على ظلمات سائر ما قال الأنبياء لأنه رسـول الله
