Al-Majlisi declares Abu Bakr and Umar as disbelievers

Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi writes:
Hajar Al-Bajali reported: “I had doubts about the two men. So i went to Medina and heard Abu Ja’far (Al-Baqir) say: “Our first oppressors who deprived us of our rights and sent people after us were Abu Bakr and Umar. He also said: “If Ali (a.) had found support, he would have cut off both of their heads.” Sallam Ibn Sa’id Al-Makhzumi reported that Abu Ja’far (a.) said: “The works of three people do not rise up into the heaven, nor is any action accepted from them: He who died with hatred in his heart for us the people of the house, he who was close to our enemy, he who was close to Abu Bakr and Umar.” Warad Ibn Zaid, the brother of Al-Kumait, reported: “We questioned Muhammad Ibn Ali (Al-Baqir) about Abu Bakr and Umar, whereupon he said: “Whoever has known that God is a righteous judge, will distance himself (Bara’ah) from the two of them and not a drop of blood will be shed except that it is on their necks.” He was also asked about Abu Bakr and Umar, whereupon he said: “These two were the first of our oppressors, who took away our right, jumped on our necks and opened a door against us that could not be closed until the Day of Resurrection, therefore God does not forgive them for their wrongdoing against us.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar, Volume 30, Page 383]

“Uqbah Ibn Khalid reported from his father that Abu Ja’far (Al-Baqir) in the supplication of Ziyarat Ashura’ said: “God, send down Your special curse from me on the first oppressor and start with him first. Then on the second, then on the third, then on the fourth.God, curse Yazid, son of Mu’awiyah, as the fifth.” Until the end of the supplication and the supplications are full of examples like these, as will follow in volume 21. I say: The traditions that point to the disbelief of Abu Bakr and Umar and those of their kinds and the reward for their cursing and disassociating from them and to that which includes their innovations are more than can be mentioned in this volume or in many other volumes, and we have mentioned them sufficiently for those whom God wanted to lead on the straight path.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar, Volume 30, Page 399]

“Our belief in the disassociation (Bara’ah) is that hatred of the four idols Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Mu’awiyah and the four women A’ishah, Hafsah, Hind and Umm-ul-Hakam and all their followers and adherents is obligatory and they are the worst of the creatures of God and the confession to God and His Messenger (s.) and the Imams (a.) is not realized except through hatred of their enemies.” [Haqq-ul-Yaqin, page 325]
