Distorters of the message

Ishaq Ibn Ammar As-Sairafi reported that he said to Imam Al-Kazim (a.): “May my life be sacrificed to you, tell me a tradition about the two (Abu Bakr and Umar). Did you hear many traditions about them from your father?” He said: “O Ishaq, the first is in the position of the golden calf and the second is in the position of Samiri.” I said: “May my life to be sacrificed to you. Tell me more about them.” He said: “By God, both of them led to the way of the Nazarenes, Jews and Zoroastrians. Therefore, God does not forgive them both.” I said: “May my life be sacrificed to you, tell me more about them.” He said: “Three will neither look at God on the day of resurrection nor will He cleanse them, and they will face a painful punishment.” I said: “May my life be sacrificed to you, who are they?” He said: “Whoever claims to be an imam who is not of God, whoever oppresses an imam of God, and whoever claims that the two (Abu Bakr and Umar) have a share in Islam.” I said: “May my life be sacrificed to you, tell me more about them.” He said: “O Father of Ishaq, i do not care whether you reject the unambiguity of the Book of God, or deny the Prophethood of Muhammad (s.), or claim that there is no God in heaven, or whether you precede Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.).” I said: “May my life be sacrificed to you, tell me more.” He said: “O Ishaq, in the hellfire there is a valley called Muhit. If one spark were to escape from it, it would burn everyone on the face of the earth. The inhabitants of hell seek shelter from the heat of this valley and its stench and its impurity and what God has appointed for the inhabitants therein. There is a mountain in the valley from whose heat the valley dwellers seek shelter, and from its smell and its impurity and from what God has appointed for those who dwell in it. Through this mountain is a passage from the heat of which all the people of the mountain seek shelter, and from its stench and its impurity and from what God has appointed for those who dwell therein. In this passage there is a well from the heat of which the people of the mountain pass seek shelter, and also from its smell and its impurity and from what God has appointed for the people in it. In this well there is a snake from whose wickedness all the inhabitants of the well seek protection, and also from its smell and its impurity and the poison in its sharp teeth that God has appointed for the inhabitants. Inside this serpent are seven containers, in which five people are from the past communities and two people are from this community.” I said: ” May my life be sacrificed to you, who are the five and who are the two persons?” He said: “As for the five persons, these are Cain who killed Abel and Namrud who discussed with Abraham (a.) about his Lord and said: “I make life and I cause death.” And Pharaoh, who said: “I am your sovereign lord.” And Judah, who made the Jews into Jews, and Paul, who made the Nazarenes into Nazarenes, and of this community are the two desert Arabs (Abu Bakr and Umar).” [Thawab-ul-A’mal from As-Saduq, pages 215 – 216]

حدثني محمد بن الحسن قال حدثني محمد بن الحسن الصفار قال حدثني عباد بن سليمان عن محمد بن سليمان الديلمي عن إسحاق بن عمار الصيرفي عن أبي الحسن الماضي عليه السلام قال: قلت جعلت فداك حدثني فيهما (أبي بكر وعمر) بحديث فقد سمعت عن أبيك فيهما أحاديث عدة؟ قال فقال لي يا إسحاق الأول بمنزلة العجل والثاني بمنزلة السامري، قال قلت جعلت فداك زدني فيهما؟ قال هما والله نصرا وهودا ومجسا فلا غفر الله لهما، قال قلت جعلت فداك زدني فيهما؟ قال ثلاثة لا ينظر الله إليهم ولا يزكيهم ولهم عذاب أليم،  قال قلت جعلت فداك فمن هم؟ قال رجل ادعى إماما من غير الله وآخر طغى في إمام من الله وآخر زعم أن لهما (أبي بكر وعمر) في الاسلام نصيبا، قال قلت جعلت فداك زدني فيهما؟ قال ما أبالي يا أبا إسحاق محوت المحكم من كتاب الله أو جحدت محمدا النبوة أو زعمت أن ليس في السماء إلها أو تقدمت علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام قال قلت جعلت فداك زدني؟ قال فقال يا إسحاق ان في النار لواديا يقال له محيط لو طلع منه شرارة لاحرق من على وجه الأرض وان أهل النار يتعوذون من حر ذلك الوادي ونتنه وقذره وما أعد الله فيه لأهله، وان في ذلك الوادي لجبلا يتعوذون أهل ذلك الوادي من حر ذلك الجبل ونتنه وقذره وما أعد الله فيه لأهله وان في ذلك الجبل لشعبا يتعوذ جميع أهل ذلك الجبل من حر ذلك الشعب من نتنه وقذره وما أعد الله فيه لأهله وان في ذلك الشعب لقليبا يتعوذ أهل ذلك الشعب من حر ذلك القليب ونتنه وقذره وما أعد الله فيه لأهله وان في ذلك القليب لحية يتعوذ جميع أهل ذلك القليب من خبث تلك الحية ونتنها وقذرها وما أعد الله عز وجل في أنيابها من السم لأهلها وان في جوف تلك الحية لسبع صناديق فيها خمسة من الأمم السالفة واثنان من هذه الأمة، قال قلت جعلت فداك ومن الخمسة ومن الاثنان؟ قال أما الخمسة فقابيل الذي قتل هابيل ونمرود الذي حاج إبراهيم في ربه قال أنا أحيي وأميت وفرعون الذي قال أنا ربكم الأعلى ويهودا الذي هود اليهود وبولس الذي نصر النصارى ومن هذه الأمة أعرابيان (أبو بكر وعمر) ـ
