Breast milk is a blessing and to deny it is an injustice

Abbas Ibn Walid reported that Umm Ishaq said:“Abu Abdillah (As-Sadiq) looked at me when i was nursing one of my sons, Muhammad or Ishaq. Then he said: “O Umm Ishaq, do not nurse him from one breast, but nurse him from both. One of them will be food and the other will be drink.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, volume 21, page 453, hadith 27560]

محمد بن يعقوب، عن محمد بن يحيى، عن سلمة بن الخطاب، عن محمد بن موسى، عن محمد بن العباس بن الوليد عن العباس بن الوليد عن أم إسحاق قالت: نظر إلي أبو عبد الله عليه السلام وأنا أرضع أحد ابني محمد أو إسحاق فقال: يا أم إسحاق لا ترضعيه من ثدي واحد وارضعيه من كليهما يكون أحدهما طعاما والآخر شرابا

Abd-ul-Wahhab Ibn Sabbah reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “The obligation (Fard) for breastfeeding is twenty-one months. But what lasted less than twenty-one months then the nursing person lacked and if one wanted to perfect breastfeeding, then two full years.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 21. Page 454, Hadith 27564]

محمد بن الحسن بإسناده الحسين بن سعيد، عن ابن أبي عمير عن عبد الوهاب بن الصباح عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال: الفرض في الرضاع أحد وعشرون شهرا فما نقص عن أحد وعشرين شهرا فقد نقص المرضع وإن أراد أن يتم الرضاعة فحولين كاملين

Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.) reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “There is no milk with which a child has been breastfed that is more beneficial than the milk of his mother.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 21, Page 452, Hadith 27559]

محمد بن يعقوب عن محمد بن يحيى عن أحمد بن محمد وعن محمد بن يحيى عن طلحة بن زيد عن جعفر بن محمد عن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام قال: ما من لبن رضع به الصبي أعظم بركة عليه من لبن أمه

Sama’ah reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “Breastfeeding is twenty-one months. But what was less, that is an injustice to the child.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 21, Page 452, Hadith 27559]

وعنه، عن أحمد، عن محمد بن عيسى، عن محمد بن سنان، عن عمار بن مروان، عن سماعة، عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال: الرضاع واحد وعشرون شهرا فما نقص فهو جور على الصبي

Muhammad Ibn Ali reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “Beware of injustice, for the unjust cannot smell the fragrance of paradise.” [Al-Uyun of Al-Wasiti, page 95, Hadith 4]

علي بن محمد الليثي عن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام قال: إياك والجور فإن الجائر لا يشم رائحة الجنة

Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.) reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “Whatever woman moved something in the house of her partner from one place to another with the purpose of doing something good, God would appreciate with His gaze and whomever God appreciated with His gaze, He would not punish.” Then Umm Salamah said: “O messenger of God, the men took away all the good. What belongs to the poor women now?” Then he said: “Yes, but when a woman becomes pregnant, she finds herself in the position of someone who is fasting, a rising one, one struggling (Mujahid) in the way of God through herself and her possessions . When she then gives birth, the reward is hers, of which nobody knows what it is, because of the greatness of it. When she then suckles, the same (reward) belongs to her for the breastfeeding like the one who liberates the descendants of Ishmael. When she then ended her breastfeeding, a noble angel would knock at her side and say: “Start the work all over again. Now you have been forgiven.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, volume 21, page 451, hadith 27557]

محمد بن علي بن الحسين عن محمد بن الحسن، عن الصفار عن محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب عن الحكم بن مسكين عن أبي خالد الكعبي عن جعفر بن محمد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: أيما امرأة دفعت من بيت زوجها شيئا من موضع إلى موضع تريد به صلاحا نظر الله إليها ومن نظر الله إليه لم يعذبه فقالت أم سلمة: يا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله ذهب الرجال بكل خير فأي شيء للنساء المساكين فقال عليه السلام: بلى إذا حملت المرأة كانت بمنزلة الصائم القائم المجاهد بنفسه وماله في سبيل الله، فإذا وضعت كان لها من الاجر ما لا يدري أحد ما هو لعظمه، فإذا أرضعت كان لها بكل مصة كعدل عتق محرر من ولد إسماعيل، فإذا فرغت من رضاعه ضرب ملك كريم على جنبها وقال: استأنفي العمل فقد غفر لك
