Abu Al-Qasim Al-Khu’i writes:
نعم الظاهر أنه ثقة وذلك لان صفوان قد شهد بأن كتاب موسى بن بكر مما لا يختلف فيه أصحابنا
“Yes, he is obviously trustworthy (Thiqah), for already Safwan testified that the book of Musa Ibn Bakr is counted among those on whom there is no disagreement among our companions.” [Mu’jam Rijal Al-Hadith, volume 20 page 33]
أنه كثير الرواية والفقهاء يعملون برواياته

Abu Ali Al-Ha’iri writes: “In what has been recorded, there is clear evidence that he is trustworthy (Thiqah) and respected (Jalil).
