Ali Ibn Muhammad reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “Everything is inclined towards its kind.” [Uyun-ul-Hikam of Al-Wasiti, page 376, Hadith 14]
محمد بن علي عن علي بن أبي طالب عليهما السلام قال: كل شيء يميل إلى جنسه
Abd-ul-Wahid Ibn Muhammad reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “When souls fit together, they are connected.” [Ghurar-ul-Hikam of At-Tamimi, page 139, Hadith 316]
عبد الواحد بن محمد عن علي بن أبي طالب عليهما السلام قال: إن النفوس إذا تناسبت ائتلفت
Ali Ibn Muhammad reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “Souls are of kinds. Those of them that are similar to each other are in harmony with each other and people are most inclined to their kinds.” [Kanz-ul-Fawa’id of Al-Karajiki, page 194, Hadith 2]
محمد بن علي عن علي بن أبي طالب عليهما السلام قال: النفوس اشكال فما تشاء كل منها اتفق والناس إلى اشكالهم أميل
Ali Ibn Muhammad reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “Sometimes souls take each other as brothers and sisters on the basis of debauchery, avoid each other on the basis of religion, like each other on the basis of lies and hate each other on the basis of truth.” [Uyun-ul-Hikam of Al-Wasiti, page 366, Hadith 4]
علي بن محمد عن علي بن أبي طالب عليهما السلام قال: قد تآخى النفوس على الفجور وتهاجروا على الدين وتحابوا على الكذب وتباغضوا على الصدق
