People, in whose breasts beat the hearts of Satans

It was reported to Hasan Ibn Mahbub, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said:“People are of three groups. Thus, there is a group that is under the shadow of the Throne on that day when there is no shadow except its shadow and a group, on which the accounting and punishment is imposed and a group, whose faces are the faces of men and whose hearts are the hearts of satans.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 7, Page 183]

محمد بن علي بن الحسين عن محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل عن عبد الله بن جعفر الحميري عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى عن الحسن بن محبوب عمن ذكره، عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليهما السلام قال: الانس على ثلاثة أجزاء، فجزء تحت ظل العرش يوم لا ظل إلا ظله، وجزء عليهم الحساب والعذاب، وجزء وجوههم وجوه الآدميين وقلوبهم قلوب الشياطين

Hudhaifah Ibn Yaman reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “There will be leaders after me, who will not be guided by my guidance and after me will not act according to my custom (Sunnah), and there will rise among them people whose hearts are the hearts of satans in the bodies of people.” I said: “How do I go about it, O Messenger of God, when I experience that?” He said: “You listen and obey, even if they strike your back and dispossess your property. So hear and obey.” [Sharh-ul-Usul of Al-Mazandarani, Volume 5, Page 284]

حذيفة ابن اليمان عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: يكون بعدي أئمة لا يهتدون بهداي ولا يستنون بعدي بسنتي وسيقوم فيهم رجال قلوبهم قلوب الشياطين في جثمان إنس، قال: قلت: كيف أصنع يا رسول الله إن أدركت ذلك قال: تسمع وتطيع وإن ضرب ظهرك واخذ مالك فاسمع وأطع

Salman Al-Farisi reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “O Ali, obedience to you is obedience to me and obedience to me is obedience to God. So whoever obeyed you obeyed me and whoever obeyed me obeyed God.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 36, page 136]

فرات بن إبراهيم عن عبيد بن كثير عن سلمان الفارسي عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: يا علي طاعتك طاعتي وطاعتي طاعة الله، فمن أطاعك أطاعني ومن أطاعني فقد أطاع الله

Muhammad as-Sabzawari reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “A time is coming for people when their faces will be the faces of men and their hearts like the hearts of satans. Like ravening wolve they shed blood. They do not refrain from the wickedness they commit. If you follow them, they make you doubt, and if you tell them, they declare you a liar, and if you are out of sight from them, they draw upon you. The custom (Sunnah) with them is a innovation (Bid’ah) and the innovation with them is a custom. They consider the gentle one as a traitor and the traitor as a gentle one. The believer among them is considered weak and the wicked among them is considered honorable. Their young men are rude and their women are treacherous. Their chief does not enjoin what is fitting and does not forbid what is reprehensible. Resorting to them is humiliation and respecting them is humiliation, and whoever sought what is in their hands became wretched. Then God denies them the rainfall at his times and lets it come down at other times. He lets the evildoers from them rule over them, whereupon they execute terrible punishments on them. They slaughter their sons and let their wives live. Thus the best of them make supplications, but they are not heard.” [Mustadrak-ul-Wasa’il of An-Nuri, Volume 11, Page 375]

محمد السبزواري عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: يأتي على الناس زمان، وجوههم وجوه الآدميين، وقلوبهم قلوب الشياطين، كأمثال الذئاب الضواري، سفاكون للدماء، لا يتناهون عن منكر فعلوه، إن تابعتهم ارتابوك، وإن حدثتهم كذبوك، وإن تواريت عنهم اغتابوك، السنة فيهم بدعة، والبدعة فيهم سنة، والحليم بينهم غادر، والغادر بينهم حليم، والمؤمن بينهم مستضعف، والفاسق فيما بينهم مشرف، صبيانهم عارم ونساؤهم شاطر وشيخهم لا يأمر بالمعروف ولا ينهى عن المنكر، الالتجاء إليهم خزي، والاعتذار بهم ذل، وطلب ما في أيديهم فقر، فعند ذلك يحرمهم الله قطر السماء في أوانه وينزله في غير أوانه، ويسلط عليهم شرارهم، فيسومونهم سوء العذاب، ويذبحون أبناءهم، ويستحيون نساءهم فيدعوا خيارهم، فلا يستجاب لهم
