Al-Majlisi does not believe, that the imams created the world
Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi writes:
ثُـمَّ لَا بُـدَّ أَنْ تَـعْـتَـقِـدَ فِـي الـنَّـبِـيِّ صَـلَّـى الـلَّـهُ عَـلَـيْـهِ وَآلِـهِ وَالْأَئِـمَّـةِ عَـلَـيْـهِـمُ الـسَّـلامُ أَنَّـهُـمْ مَـعْـصُـومُـونَ مِـنْ أَوَّلِ الْـعُـمْـرِ إِلَـى آخِـرِهِ مِـنْ صَـغَـائِـرِ الـذُّنُـوبِ وَكَـبَـائِـرِهَـا [ … ] وَلَا تَـعْـتَـقِـدُ أَنَّـهُـمْ خَـلَـقُـوا الْـعَـالَـمَ بِـأَمْـرِ الـلَّـهِ تَـعَـالَـى فَـإِنَّـا نُـهِـيـنَـا فِـي صِـحَـاحِ الْأَخْـبَـارِ عَـنِ الْـقَـوْلِ بِـهِ وَلَا عِـبْـرَةَ بِـمَـا رَوَاهُ الْـبُـرْسِـيِّ وَغَـيْـرِهِ مِـنَ الْأَخْـبَـارِ الـضَّـعِـيـفَـةِ
,,After this it is inevitable, to believe about the Prophet (s.) and the Imams (a.), that they are free from small and big sins (Ma’sum) from the beginning to the end of life [ … ] and one does not believe, that they created the world by the order of God, because we have been forbidden in the authentic traditions, to make such a statement and no attention is to be paid, to what Al-Bursi and others besides him narrate from weak narrations.” [Aqa’id-ul-Islam, page 55 – 56]
