Husain Al-Musawi about the love of children of Al-Khumaini

Husain Al-Musawi writes:

لمّا كان الإمام الخُمينيّ مقيماً في العراق كنّا نتردّد إليه ونطلب منه العلم حتّى صارت علاقتنا معه وثيقةً جداً، وقد اتّفق مرة أن وُجِّهَتْ إليه دعوة من مدينةٍ وهي مدينةٌ تقع غرب الموصل على مسيرة ساعةٍ ونصفٍ تقريباً بالسّيّارة فطلبني للسّفر معه فسافرت معه فاستقبلونا وأكرمونا غاية الكرم مدّة بقائنا عند إحدى العوائل الشّيعيّة المقيمة هناك، وقد قطعوا عهداً بنشر التّشيّع في تلك الأرجاء وما زالوا يحتفظون بصورةٍ تذكاريّةٍ لنا تمّ تصويرها في دارهم

,,When Imam Khumaini was living in Iraq, we often visited him and sought knowledge from him until our relationship with him became very close and once it happened, that he received an invitation from a city and it was a city, located in the west of Mosul. About an hour and a half away by car. Then he invited me, to join him on the journey, whereupon I joined him on the journey. So they received and honored us in the highest degree at one of the Shia families, residing there and they vowedly assured the spread of Shiaism in those areas and still they keep a souvenir photo of us, which was taken in their house.”

ولمّا انتهت مدّة السّفر رجعنا، وفي طريق عودتنا ومرورنا في بغداد أراد الإمام أن نرتاح من عناء السّفر، فأمر بالتّوجّه إلى منطقة العطيفية حيث يسكن هناك رجل إيرانيّ الأصل يُقال له سيّد صاحب، كانت بينه وبين الإمام معرفة قويةٌ فرح سيّد صاحب بمجيئنا، وكان وصولنا إليه عند الظّهر، فصنع لنا غداءً فاخراً واتّصل ببعض أقاربه فحضروا وازدحم منزله احتفاءً بنا، وطلب سيّد صاحب إلينا المبيت عنده تلك الّليلة فوافق الإمام، ثمّ لمّا كان العشاء أتونا بالعَشاء، وكان الحاضرون يُقَبِّلُون يد الإمام ويسألونه ويُجيب عن أسئلتهم

,,Now when the duration of the journey ended, we returned and on the way of our return and our passage in Baghdad, the Imam wanted us to rest from the toil of the journey. Then he ordered us to go to the neighborhood of Utifiyah, where an Iranian-born man lived, called Sayyid Sahib. There was a good relationship between him and the Imam. Sayyid Sahib was pleased with our coming and our arrival at his house was at noon time. So he prepared a delicious midday meal for us and called some of his relatives, whereupon they came and filled his house to welcome us. Sayyid Sahib invited us to stay with him that night and the Imam agreed. When the evening arrived, we were brought the evening meal and those present kissed the hand of the Imam and asked him questions, whereupon he answered their questions.”

ولمّا حان وقتُ النّوم وكان الحاضرون قدِ انصرفوا إلا أهل الدّار، أبصر الإمام الخُمينيّ صبيّةً بعمر أربع سنواتٍ أو خمسٍ ولكنّها جميلةٌ جداً، فطلب الإمام من أبيها سيّد صاحب إحضارها للتّمتّع بها فوافق أبوها بفرحٍ بالغٍ، فبات الإمام الخُمينيّ والصّبيّة في حضنه ونحن نسمع بُكاءها وصريخها المُهمّ أنّه أمضى تلك اللّيلة فلمّا أصبح الصّباح وجلسنا لتناول الإفطار نظر إليّ فوجد علامات الإنكار واضحةً في وجهي؛ إذ كيف يتمتّع بهذه الطّفلة الصّغيرة وفي الدّار شاباتٌ بالغاتٌ راشداتٌ كان بإمكانه التّمتّع بإحداهن فلم يفعل

,,When bedtime came and all those present left except for the residents of the house, Imam Khumaini saw a girl of four or five years of age who was extremely beautiful. Then the Imam asked her father Sayyid Sahib, to bring her here for a temporary marriage. So her father agreed with him with great joy. Then Imam Khumaini spent the night with the girl in his care while we heard her crying and screaming. The important thing is, that he spent that night. Now when morning came and we took our seats,to have breakfast, he looked at me, whereupon he noticed on my face clear signs of rejection, since how does he consummate the temporary marriage with this little girl, while there are mature young ladies in the house, one of whom he could consummate the temporary marriage with. But he did not.”

فقال ليسيّد حسين ما تقول في التّمتّع بالطّفلة قلت لهسيّد القول قولك، والصّواب فعلُك، وأنت إمامٌ مجتهدٌ، ولا يمكن لمثلي أن يرى أو يقول إلا ما تراه أنت أو تقوله، ومعلومٌ أنّي لا يمكنني الاعتراض وقتذاك فقالسيّد حسين؛ إن التّمتّع بها جائزٌ ولكن بالمُداعبة والتّقبيل والتّفخيذأمّا الجماع فإنها لا تقوى عليه وكان الإمام الخُمينيّ يرى جواز التّمتّع حتّى بالرّضيعة فقاللا بأس بالّتمتّع بالرّضيعة ضمّاً وتفخيذاً أي يضع ذكره بين فخذيها وتقبيلاً انظر كتابه تحرير الوسيلة ٢٢٤١ مسألة رقم ١٢

,,Then he said to me: ﴾Sayyid Husain, what do you say about the temporary marriage with a child?﴿ I said to him: ﴾Sayyid, the word is your word and the right thing is your practice and you are an Imam, a jurist and for one like me it is not proper to mean or say anything except what you mean and say.﴿ And of course, at that time I was not able to object. Then he said: ﴾Sayyid Husain, the temporary marriage with her is allowed. However, with foreplay, kissing and thigh intercourse. As for sexual intercourse, she cannot stand it.﴿ And Imam Khumaini even considered temporary marriage with an infant as permissible. Thus he said: ﴾There is no problem in temporary marriage with an infant. With embracing and thigh intercourse.﴿ By which is meant that one puts his genital between her two thighs ﴾And kissing.﴿ See his book Tahrir-ul-Wasilah, Volume 2, Page 241, Issue 12.” [Li-llahi Thumma Li t-Tarikh, Page 35 – 37]

Comment:

Sayyid Musawi claims on page 104 that he met Dildar Ali An-Naqawi who passed away in 1820 and describes Abu l-Qasim Al-Khu’i on page 77 as passing away in 1992. This would make Sayyid Musawi more than 172 years old. You can find the legal opinion of Mr. Khumaini [Here!]
