Al-Murtada does not believe, that the Qur’an says that one must imitate the warner
Ash-Sharif Al-Murtada writes:
,,The warner is the one, who instills fear and reminds to be cautious, the one, who points out, to verify and ponder and one does not need to imitate (taqlid) him or accept from Him without proof and therefore He said, praise be to Him: ﴾That they may beware.﴿ (9:122) And the meaning of it is: ﴾They should be on their guard.﴿ And if He meant what is claimed, then He, Praise be to Him, would say: ﴾That they may follow﴿ or ﴾accept.﴿” [Adh-Dhari’ah, Volume 2, page 534 – 535]
Comment:
Some wicked people claim about the said verse (9:122), that God is speaking about their favorite scholar. God does not speak of this idea, can be read [here!]
